Compare add/sub statements with fractions I

You may have learned how to add and subtract fractions.

When comparing values of mathematical statements we use special symbols:

  • $<$< means "is less than"
  • $>$> means "is greater than"
  • $=$= means "is equal to"

Sometimes the fractions are over one, or there are more than two fractions in the statements. Watch this video to learn about harder statements.
