We want to determine whether $f\left(x\right)=3x+12$`f`(`x`)=3`x`+12 and $g\left(x\right)=\frac{1}{3}x-4$`g`(`x`)=13`x`−4 are inverse functions.

We want to determine whether $f\left(x\right)=3x-6$`f`(`x`)=3`x`−6 and $g\left(x\right)=\frac{1}{3}x-2$`g`(`x`)=13`x`−2 are inverses.
