When we count by ones, we use the digits $0$0$1$1$2$2$3$3$4$4$5$5$6$6$7$7$8$8 and $9$9

We also use these digits to make bigger numbers, like $10$10, $11$11, $12$12, and $13$13.  

Vocabulary:
  • Another word that we can use to describe the ones place is 'units'.
  • You'll see in the next video we talk about icy pole sticks, these are the same as popsicle sticks.
