Balancing with mixed operations II

Lesson

In Balancing Numbers up to 50 we saw that number sentences are balanced if both sides of the number sentence have the same value.

Example: $20-4=13+3$204=13+3

In this number sentence both the left and right sides of the sentence are equal to $16$16.  So we say the number sentence is balanced.

Look at this video to see how to solve math problems involving balancing number sentences.
