Exploring nets (Investigation)

It can be really fun to build different solids from nets.  Below you will find some nets that you can print, cut out, fold up and glue to form solids.

Once you've done that, here are some ideas on what to do with them:

• make a mobile
• make a shape robot
• turn them into special dice
• calculate the areas of faces or volumes of the shapes
