Do you remember the names of the place value columns?
This video has some examples of numbers with tens of thousands, and helps us change them from written numbers to numerals. All the numbers in this lesson will have 5 digits.
Write the following using numerals:
fifty six thousand, three hundred and thirty seven
Choose the written form for the number 90\,528.
Even though the written number may not mention a place value, we can't leave it out, so use a zero in any spot that has no digit.
