Learn with an Astronaut, Paralympian or a Comedian

We’ve partnered up with three superstars to bring you the biggest national online maths challenge of the year!

It’s all about celebrating and rewarding student growth. All teachers with students in grades 3 to 12 can join.

Over three weeks students from across the nation will work hard to solve maths problems and show their growth. Learning new things might be enougn of an incentive for some, but there are also some great prizes to add a little extra motivation. Every week the top 10 classes will win a pizza party! At the end, three lucky classes will win an exclusive maths lesson with one of three prominent figures.

Ron Garan

Former NASA Astronaut

An astronaut, aviator, aquanaut, humanitarian, and more - Ron’s career includes 178 days in space and travelling more than 71 million miles during 2,842 orbits of our planet.

Janine Watson

Taekwondo Paralympian

Janine is Australia's first taekwondo Paralympian. She is a Tokyo 2020 Bronze Medalist and 3 x World Champion in the sport of Parataekwondo. She is also a former mathematics teacher!

Adam Spencer

Comedian and Author

A “life long numbers nerd”, Adam is a passionate maths and science communicator, comedian, author, TV personality, and former radio presenter of Triple J and ABC Sydney.

Your weekly score resets at the end of each week.

*A class can only be a weekly winner once in the entire challenge. If a class has the highest score in two or more weeks, the next class in line will be the winner for the second week.
